1. Halloween / Spooky Theme Returns
Season 9 leans heavily into Halloween content. Expect spooky atmospheres, haunted maps, and eerie game modes.
Haunted Hacienda returns with ghost ships, jack-o-lanterns, and supernatural decorations.
Night mode on Isolated: the map Isolated will now have a nighttime variant, making visibility low and gameplay more tense.
Classic modes like Attack of the Undead and Hordepoint (zombie variant) come back to add to the horror vibe.
2. WWE Crossover Event & Mode
One of the standout additions this season is a WWE crossover that brings wrestling flair into CODM.
The limited-time multiplayer mode lets all Operators start with Prizefighters (boxing gloves). As you build kills / combos, you may transform into WWE Superstars (e.g. The Undertaker).
Once transformed, you gain unique finishing moves and boosted attributes (like extra health) fitting their WWE persona.
The WWE event also includes tasks to earn Entry Tickets, mini-games, and Smackdown Points that unlock rewards (skins, blueprints, etc.).
3. Battle Pass, Rewards & Cosmetics
Season 9 introduces a fresh Battle Pass and many new cosmetics to match the haunting & WWE themes.
Free rewards: Tier rewards include the Sten SMG and a Chopper Gunner Scorestreak variant.
Premium rewards: Halloween-inspired Operator skins (e.g. Ajax "Insanely Jacked", Seraph "Witch's Holiday"), weapon blueprints (Fennec, XM4, Sten) with spooky designs.
The Battle Pass also includes Vault content: returning cosmetics from earlier seasons.
4. Themed Events & Challenges
Throughout Season 9, players can participate in multiple seasonal events to earn special rewards.
Rock Rampage event: Collect Power Chords to unlock legendary weapon blueprints (e.g. FFAR "Shredder") and additional cosmetic rewards.
Halloween / candy event: Collect candy via MP / BR matches, use them in mini-games for rewards (weapon blueprints, skins, etc.).
Other seasonal events: Some events are announced to drop right before Halloween, adding variety and new milestone rewards.
5. Multiplayer & Map Updates
Call Of Duty Mobile Season 9 also brings updates to maps, modes, and how multiplayer feels.
Isolated at night: The darkness changes tactics — noise, sightlines, stealth become more important.
Horror variants of existing modes: Hardpoint + zombie elements (Hordepoint), Attack of the Undead mode where one becomes undead and targets others.
The WWE mode offers close-quarters, fighting style gameplay rather than standard gunplay.
Season 9 Launch & Road Ahead
Call Of Duty Mobile Season 9 goes live October 1st at 5 PM PT.
It also kicks off a three-season celebration leading to CODM's 6th anniversary. The "Road to 6" theme colors this season (Black & Gold) and promises bigger surprises in Seasons 10 & 11.
Store updates include a new Mythic Draw (Deepstar Wraith, Deepstar Piercer, etc.), Halloween series weapon skins, and special WWE draws.
